Prom Season again!

Tis the season to get... dressed! It's Prom season again and for the people who got stuck in their cave for the past hundred years, its short for promenade, is used to describe a formal dance held at the end of the high school academic year. Here's a couple of shots i took last sat.

Nike Air Force 25th Anniversary.

Went to the Nike Air Force 2nd coming launch in Manila DJ Club in the Fort last Jan 25. Man it really was a feast for the eyes! and also for the feet! i just wanted to swipe this Philippine flag inspired shoe... 1st saw this on Francis M's Blog.







This next shoe is exactly what you thought it was... alligator skin! hand crafted in Italy. It was auctioned out and if i'm not mistaken went for over P100,000! Ouch!

World Pyrolympics 2007

I wasn't able to go to last years show so i have no comparison, but it was great! so much color sound and... PEOPLE! could hardly get throught the crowd! and thats just getting there. Leaving the place was another story...






Wall to Wall people!! I've never seen this much people since World youth day in 1995.

Ang Bahay sa Bulacan

We went on an overnight trip to my Dad's resthouse in Bulacan, Bulacan. At the same time it was my sisters pamamanhikan with her fiances family. Good food and talking. I think thats how those things go anyways.
Here's a photo I took just before dark. 1.3" f/5.6 ISO 200. For me another Wow! Chamba shot! hehe

The next morning my little nephew didnt want to stop yapping about going swimming again, so even if we were leaving in a few hours we let him. (this is why i think he's spoiled. hehe)

Picture Porter Elite

My brand spanking new thingie just arrived via airmail today. At first glance, it seems a little too much for just photo storage, but after a while you get to see what it does and it just blew me away!!

This is the Picture Porter Elite from Digital Foci.
It Basically is a media storage handler for all your digital media, whether it be music, photos or video it stores it, plays it and views it. Its 40 gig hard disc gives you more than enough space to store just about anything!

It has an on board CF I/II and microdrive also an SD, MMC, MS reader! just plug your memory stick in and download it into the picture porter.

Play your music and videos even without earphones. It has a bulit in speaker that gives out pretty decent sound. Audio outs and video outs from the porter allow you to play your music or video on your component system or your plasma screen at home! Video and Audio ins are also supported, so you can record your favorite show or DVD movie striaght from your source! For scheduled programs there is also a timer on the porter so just set the time and leave it! it will record everything on that time frame... pretty cool huh?

It supports almost all kinds of file types, but whats even better is that it stores RAW files. Heres a photo shot from my canon 30D. Dumped it straight from my CF card and viewed it. It takes about 4 minutes to transfer a whole 1gig CF card to the porter.

An FM reciever adds a little want to this little toy. included earphones also serves as your antenna Everything that you need for everything i mentioned here is included in the picture porter elite box! Well except for the stick adapters for you RS SD or the reduced MMS and the MS duo and MS M2.
